Temple Concord Sisterhood is our local chapter of Women of Reform Judaism (WRJ), working together to empower women and communities through the bonds of sisterhood, spirituality, and social justice. Leading with the principle of Tikkun Olam, the WRJ mobilizes collective action on a variety of causes to create a more just and compassionate world for people of all backgrounds and identities. Key priorities are:

  •         Reproductive Health & Rights

  •         Economic Justice and the Reform Pay Equity Initiative

  •         Gender-based Violence

  •         Israel

  •         Civil Rights, Racial Justice & Diversity, Equity and Inclusion (DEI).

Sisterhood supports our religious school, our congregation, community organizations and offers programs throughout the year for women of all ages and stages of life including an Annual Book Review by Rabbi Rachel Esserman, music and educational programs, as well as purely social events like Bunco, Bingo, and Kahoot competitions. Sisterhood also runs our Judaica Gift Shop and runs our award-winning Uniongram program.

Of course, meals and snacks served at the social activities and conversation make it fun for all!

We welcome you to participate in bi-annual Women's Seder and our annual Sisterhood Shabbat.  Consider volunteering for a slot at one of our monthly rummage sales, annual Artisan Marketplace, or Whale of a Sale.
