Get involved
Odds are, there is something happening at Temple Concord that fits your schedule and interests, and may even add to your resume. And there are opportunities to initiate new activities as well.

Some opportunities are below. You can also contact us for information about current volunteer needs.
Social Action - Tikkun Olam
A defining characteristic of Temple Concord is its engagement in social action. This commitment demands that we as a community dedicate ourselves to social action and social justice.

Sisterhood
Temple Concord Sisterhood is a diverse group of women whose mission is “enriching women’s lives by fostering connections among our members within the context of Judaism". Sisterhood is affiliated with Women of Reform Judaism (WRJ) and is open to all members of our community.
Sisterhood is always looking for volunteers to staff our monthly rummage sales, help at our annual Artisan Marketplace and our Whale of a Sale.

Caring Committee
The Caring Community responds with concern and sensitivity to help our temple members in time of need.

Garden Committee
Our beautiful gardens behind Temple Concord are always available for contemplation and can be used for Temple Celebrations and rentals. A small amount of your time and some "elbow grease" can make a big difference. Contact Ted Major for information.
